South Africa offers a diverse range of hunting opportunities, from classic plains game to dangerous game, foragers, and elusive species. Each pursuit demands its own approach, shaped by the land, the wildlife, and time spent in the bush.

Plains game hunting offers a classic African experience, with a wide variety of species and diverse terrain. It is a pursuit shaped by walking, tracking, and reading the land, where patience, awareness, and respect for the environment are rewarded.

Dangerous game hunting is the highest test of skill and discipline. Guided by experienced professional hunters, these hunts demand focus, precision, and deep respect for the animals and the environment, offering an intense and unforgettable experience.

Foragers such as warthog, porcupine, and bushpig require a different approach, often involving patience and nocturnal pursuit. Constant movement and sharp awareness make these hunts challenging, rewarding those who understand the rhythms of the bush.

Elusive predators like caracal, serval, civet, and genet are rarely seen and difficult to pursue. Their intelligence and stealth demand precision, patience, and adaptability, making them a unique challenge for hunters seeking something truly different.

South Africa lies in the Southern Hemisphere, meaning seasons are opposite to those in Europe and North America. Winter is the dry season, while summer brings higher temperatures and rainfall. Climate and conditions vary across the country, with noticeable differences between regions and even between nearby areas.
In Limpopo, summer from late November to April is hot and green, with frequent rain and more water available, making stalking easier but visibility shorter. Winter from May to November is cooler and dry, with sparse vegetation and fewer water sources, improving visibility while making approaches more challenging.
On your departure day, you will take your trophies to the taxidermist of your choice, located right next to the lodge.
This proximity between the lodge and the taxidermist provides an extra guarantee for the proper preservation of the hides, as it prevents any risk of overheating during transport.
At the renowned taxidermist's studio, you can give your trophies a final inspection, admire the showroom and the quality of the work, and then, with full knowledge of the process, order the desired services, either initial preparation (dip and pack) or complete taxidermy.
If needed, we can help you track the progress of your taxidermy from South Africa to your home.
